All while keeping balance between Voidessence and Aetherlight within herself.Agile or "Agi" (as she known to those close to her) is warm and fun. She seeks out those in need of cheering and offers her light and love to them. Most times she does this by talking with people and giving messages from "The Green Wood" and also those she receives from the "Mist". However, she really loves healing the souls of those in need with her Aetherlight or Voidessence sessions. Agi loves to chat and listen to people. She enjoys music, dancing in clubs and her friends & family. Her message is to love all, heal & respect each other, and that each day we can choose our path. Perspective is alchemy and balance is essential for peace-Internal and external.

Background(Agi's Story)

When born, all Viera kit have white hair and fur. One Viera's changed only slightly and was accented by pale pink highlights likened to the gentle dawn on a snowy horizon so her matron named her "Fanndis" meaning "snow goddess". Fanndis was well-liked by others due to her caring nature; but, often found herself alone. In that loneliness, she began to seek comfort in the voices from the "Green Wood" that she heard reaching out to her. They comforted her and began guiding her to helping others in need. Soon, Fanndis found that the voices would urge her to help others in the forbidden world outside of Skatay Range in Othard. This was highly unusual of the Green Wood to want because all Viera are bound by the "Green Word" law. This law is that all Viera must remain in the forest jungle or lose the ability to hear the Wood outside of it. Agi doubted what she was being told for a long time. But surprisingly, the Ancients of Ronka were insistent in their communications with her that she leave her home. In return, they promised that they would help her and remain audible and accessible to her no matter where she traveled and bestowed a red gem on her third eye plexus. This gem allows her to stay linked to the Great Wood no matter where she is in either world. Agi trained extensively in crystal use and properties. Her use of worldly crystals intensifies the messages that the Ancients impart to her in conjunction with their telepathic messages. Within each crystal, is unique meaning. These crystals amplify the communications for her and she is able to read them and understanding deeper meanings symbolized in conjunction with the Mist messages she receives. As she receives them, her unique red gem glows brighter and stronger. For a long time she avoided following the prompting she received but, finally; over time, she decided to trust in the urgings. So, as customary for breaking the "Green Word" (of keeping from the outside world) Fanndis assumed a name that she would be known as for ever more after her banishment-"Agile Illusion". "Agile" for her adaptability. "Illusion" for her talent to see and tap into the world beyond the illusion of her physical world.Agile (or "Agi" as she is known to those close to her) was guided by the the Wood to learn about the darkness of the Void. At an early age, she found herself being trained as a battle dancer to combat the forces trying to break their way into the forest jungle and claim it for their own. Agile's natural ability for speed and her empathic skill increased her target accuracy and encouraged her trainers to instruct her special dancing that releases the Void's grip on those that have been seized by it's hold on their mind and soul.As her battle skills grew, so did the power of the Void that she faced. The Ancients of Ronka and Voices of the Green Wood recognized this and began to guide Agi to seek training directly from the Shamans and Night's Blessed Sanct so she would be able to understand their messages clearer."Mist" or (as the Shamans and Priests call it) provides light healing and messages that enter Agi's mind and body quickly and fluidly. It took time but with much training, Agi learned how to slow and decipher meanings in the pictures within her mind from the Mist. Each stream was different and was subject to instinctual interpretation. This was further intensified by her use and study of crystals and meaning. To learn of the properties of crystals, Agi was trained by the Humble Shaman in Rak' Tika's Citia Swamps on the metaphysical healings and properties of crystals and oils. It was through her training here that she earned the title of "Shaman". She loved her training but felt that she needed more in traveling through alternate realms within the Mist. She was encouraged to seek training through the Nights Blessed-A sect of dark magic those of whom were skilled in ancient practices involving Mist and Void. The training she received by them amplified her prior Shaman training and soon she was taught secret teachings given to the Sect by a great Sage that came from another realm called "Master Matoya". Legends confirmed that she was able to drift between realms which was what the Ancients prodded her telepathically that they wished for her to do. Through the Night's Blessed, Agi learned how to drift and is able to port freely between realms. She became so good at handling the magic, that her mentors granted her access to much within the Realm of the Source to heal in both realms as the Ancients urged.
Agi was guided by the Ancients to seek out where Master Matoya said she hailed from and find a way to study within her great Library. With the guidance of the Ancients within her, she came to the Sect that followed Matoya's teachings and after proving herself trustworthy and loyal to them, she was allowed access to the great library which she learned contained the great Master Matoya's collection of "Crystal Arts" in her "Aetherology End" rooms. This knowledge is deemed is unparalled in either realm and carefully guarded by Guilds in Eorzea and by the Night's Blessed in the First. It's teaching intensified Agi's Shaman skills and added dimension (literally) to them.Agi spent many years studying and became fluent in the language of crystals and their uses for healing and protection. To this day, she continues to study all she can in the library and with Shaman's in the first and pass this knowledge on to others in need and heal with specially charged crystals.For the next phase of her training, Agi was sworn by the Night's Blessed Masters and by a promise to the Ancients of Ronka to total secrecy of its existence and her training within it. The reason for this secrecy is Viera can develop what is known as “Mist Frenzy” if in contact with too much Mist (Aether-as the Masters called it) that usually renders a Viera in an uncontrollable physical frenzy which can make them extremely violent. This frenzy conversion, if became known or if other Viera knew of a way to control the frenzy, could have devastating consequences should it fall in the wrong hands.However; in order to channel powerful healing aether to combat the darkness of the Void. Agi would need a way to channel this physical frenzy into an out-of-body experience that could transform a severely damaged body and/or soul to optimum health. Keeping from slipping into the stream was not an easy task; as the Mist could grip her tight and almost consume her (as almost happened a couple of occasions if not for the Masters interventions!)Agi studied hard and practiced over many years on how to balance light and void within her using a secret tome provided to her by a priest in the Conjuror's Guild. This tome was the only sage that could effectively train a Viera how to convert such powerful Mist force into constant powerful healing and interdimensional travel between realms. Once the knowledge contained inside the tome was fully consumed, it was enchanted that it would grace the student with powerful life-long spells protect them as they learned and progressed and at its determination of successful completion- it would self-destruct. So it was no wonder that it found its way into a protective collection and seemed to choose for itself who may be destined to be its final vessel.Now came the most challenging and rewarding part that is Agi's destiny-Lightwork using Mist (Aethercurrent) called "Aetherlight". In many extensive secret training sessions with Masters of the Conjurors Guild, Agi learned how to channel full Mist or full Aethercurrent from the space above her and then down through her body and pass certain Aetherlight bands from it through her hands to others to heal their body, mind and soul from Void damage. This effect was often intensified by her use of specially selected and charged crystals. She knew it was working when she would see her hands radiate the light's color she was visualizing either as whole white light or in specific light colors to target areas of the body or all over the person’s aura. Pink for loving light. Pale Blue for calming light. Green for healing. Each color has meaning and her crystal linked to the Great Wood on her forehead would glow (and even change color) as the Aetherlight flowed through her and out of her. This training was exhaustive but gradually she was able to temper the enormous amount of Mist she channeled and converted to whole streams of light or bands of healing light. She learned how to convert negative (or void) blockages to the Aetherlight flow again and how to use light to shield against the Void. Agi now shares this practice of light healing and shielding in her sessions so others can self-heal and protect themselves by visualization in times of stress.Protective magic also helped her to become stronger in battle. Agi was taught how to create powerful potions and to call on her Spirit guides for shielding. This was necessary as the Void energy presented itself stronger as her abilities grew to destroy it. She also needed to be stronger to protect the secret of her frenzy ability and be able to balance the stronger forces she contains and transfers; but, Agi needed more. Recognizing this, The Thaumaturge Guild Master revealed to Agi that what she needed now was battlecraft and balance to protect her secret and secure her Aether/Void internal balance. She was instructed to go to Ul’dah and meet with a secret sect to study "Red Mage Arts" since Red Mages are masters at the art of balancing the darkness and light they internalize.Agi needed this training to be able to balance these powers within her as they became part of her being- Especially after releasing the Void from a person and absorbing it into her being for conversion. She needed to know how to handle it and use the darkness to ground her. She also needed to learn how to channel the Mist's light back to the person using her own light in conjunction with the Mist for larger healing. Healing using her own aether was a focus of training since she only knew how to channel from the world around her from the Conjurors. Soon she found it becoming easier to balance the light and dark and know when to draw from the Mist and herself only for healing. The more people she saved-The more she was inspired to heal and use her special connection to the Mist and Green Wood to aid them and deliver guidance from beyond.One day, as she was mining crystals, she happened upon a Voidsent being and fought it. As it lay dying in a ditch in Mor Dhona, its flesh twisted and crying in pain-Its plight resonated with Agi as it pleaded for her to save it. "You...You call yourself a healer and a being of love. But you only heal and love what you perceive to be worthy. Am I not worthy as well?" Agi was stunned and thought hard on the question. Being and empath she at once felt the being's true pain. Suddenly, the red gem glowed on her head and telepathically within her, she heard the Ancients in her mind saying: "What will you do?" Without hesitation, Agi raised her hand at the tormented creature writhing in pain and felt the extra Void essence flow from the ground beneath her up through her feet and up to her chest and out her arms and hands flowing straight to the creature's broken body and soul. She saw the essence within the creature fill and become and even purple blue as it glistened in darkness. Her body felt more in Aether balance with the Void release and she was stunned to realize she could call on the Voidessence just as she can call on the the Aetherlight to heal. The stream flowed from the ground balancing the Aether stream from above. Soon, the creature struggled, stood and approached Agi, slowly... Agi readied her rapier prepared to fight but the creature before her stood firm and nodded at her. "Good. I knew you had it in you. That concludes your training, Agi." "Remember ALL creatures are worthy of compassion, healing and love. Use your power to not destroy but to balance and heal ALL from the torment they feel within. Most Void feed because their souls lack essence. You have a choice." Agi was stunned and awed as the being's form changed and before her stood her mentor, the high master of the Thaumaturge guild who said, "Use your lessons wisely. I have work to do." and vanished before her.
As the Master left, the gem connected to the Ancients on Agi's head glowed brightly in response like an approval and thank you from them within her. Agi smiled. Free of her formal training and ready to put it all to good use. To this day, she always seeks to use her lessons wisely and to help, heal and love all.All of this access to the light, void conversion and communication with the ancients does come at a cost for her though. She must hunt the Void and obtain some darkness to keep her grounded in this world of Illusion. It's a delicate balance as too much light and not enough Void has her run the risk of her being absorbed into the Mist's eternal stream if she does not stay grounded and also too much Void can alter her own soul to become Voidsent. She must be aware at all times to this the excess and makes that it can make her prey for emotional vampires seeking to feed on her intense bright mist and dim her light and connection to the realms. Each day is a struggle to keep it in balance and there are times the balance shifts to more dark than light. This change is noted externally by her fur and hair turning black.Agile, still has much to learn and explore. She is acutely aware that if she fails in use of her training-There is no second chance to get it right; but , the risk is more than worth it as is her constant pursuit of knowledge of new methods.
Lately, she can be found exploring the mysteries and ancient latent magic within the temples in Palaka's Stand and other regions within Thavnair where the spirits have recently guided her. She hopes that she will discover even more to share with others and maybe true honest love in the process. The more she can share-The more she feels the joy in this "Illusion" she has chosen to love...In balance. ♥
